Looking for a Romantic Getaway in Melbourne?
Melbourne is the perfect place for a romantic weekend away with someone special. There is so much to do and see – and because the food is the best in Australia, it is a Foodie’s paradise! Melbourne also has some of the best, most luxurious hotels in Australia – in fact my very favourite hotel of all time is located in Melbourne, and it is where I stay every time I go! So if you are looking to book somewhere special in Melbourne for a romantic getaway – here are your top choices!
What’s the Difference Between ‘Normal’ Hotels and Romantic Hotels?
Normal everyday hotels are just where you want to lay your head down at night that is clean and located close to where you need to be. When it comes to romantic hotels, you are thinking about spending a lot of time in that hotel room, you want it warm, inviting, comfortable and fun! Plus romantic hotels should be in the thick of the city where you can pop out to eat, but only have a few minutes walk before you can rush back to the massive hotel bed!
Think boutique hotels, but made for couples – a couple’s retreat, made for love!

There is also talk on the grapevine that The Como Hotel is where many of the celebrities in town like to stay – and seeing that it is connected to the Channel 10 studios next door, I think there might be some truth to that rumour!
