Introducing Yarn, a new online marketplace that features Indigenous-owned businesses and a range of products that showcase authentic Indigenous artwork.

We offer a diverse range of beautiful products including men’s, women’s and children’s clothing, accessories, homewares and health and beauty products.
Whether you’re after natural skincare, a wardrobe refresh or some new vibrant homewares to brighten your home with, Yarn has it all.
At Yarn, we focus strongly upon supporting Indigenous businesses, artists and community. Our platform is all about collaboration and community, sharing products that celebrate First Nations art and culture. We form long-term partnerships with artists and support a number of non-for-profits and community groups.
In the last 3 years, we have directed 1.8 million to Indigenous employment and training, artists and model sponsorships, and direct community funding.
The key purpose of Yarn as a platform is to help First Nations owned brands to grow and connect with new customers, with the assistance of our logistic infrastructure and marketing expertise.
The marketplace now features some incredible Indigenous businesses, who through the use of traditional knowledge, culture and artistic skills create beautiful products. Yarn helps these amazing creative businesses share their talents with Australia and the rest of the world.

Some of the latest additions to the Yarn platform include Lowanna Skincare, Deadly Dot Pots and Bindigenous, all 100% Indigenous owned small businesses run by incredible, creative women. Each of these amazing businesses are only one year old but are already kicking goals!

Lowanna Skincare, founded by proud Narungga woman Sinead focuses upon creating natural skincare that is kind to the earth.

The brand was born in Adelaide, South Australia and embraces the Narungga people’s knowledge of the land and sea – the belief that what nature provides us is all we need. Lowanna Skincare values this ideology, as such all of their products contain natural, plant-based, native ingredients that Indigenous Australian people have been using for centuries. Some of their favourite ingredients to use include Ylang Ylang, Quandong, Desert Lime and Green Clay.

Deadly Dot Pots is owned by proud Durag woman of the Cabrogal tribe, Mandy Draper.

Using her artistic talents, Mandy creates gorgeous hand painted ceramic plant pots and wooden serving boards. Through Deadly Dot Pots, Mandy’s mission is to raise awareness about mental health, sharing how art has the ability to positively impact people’s lives. Every pot is hand painted with love by Mandy and every design tells a special story.

Bindigenous is a unique business owned by proud Kamilaroi and Dunghutti woman Ang Bennett.

She creates beautiful stickers made specifically for decorating rubbish bins. Through creating the bin decorations Ang hopes to change the way people look at bins, to think differently and make a real effort to reduce their waste. Each of the sticker’s colours are designed to match the bin lid colours whether it’s a yellow, red or green lid.
