Golden Bake is very similar to a Shepherd’s Pie. The biggest difference is the addition of pumpkin, which the recipe uses with mashed potatoes. Sceptical of this change at first? We have to admit that it works well. The pumpkin adds a richness and depth of flavour that plain mashed potatoes can’t match.
It also gives the pie a beautiful golden colour. The pumpkin can make the filling balanced, and the pie crust can be a bit crispy to your liking. Overall, though, Golden Bake is a delicious and easy-to-make recipe that is sure to please any crowd.
