What are Laundry Detergent Strips?
Laundry Detergent Strips are a zero-waste, ultra-concentrated ‘strip’ of laundry detergent that you pop into your washing machine instead of laundry detergent. They are effectively a ‘dehydrated’ version of laundry liquid coated on a strip of linen, bamboo or paper. The laundry strips are pre-measured so you can’t ‘over dose’ or ‘under dose’ your washing machine – and they are low-sud so they are suitable for both top-loading washing machines and front-loading washing machines.
The huge advantage of laundry detergent strips is that they weigh 98% less than traditional laundry liquid or laundry detergent – so you can order it online without worrying the postage will kill you!
How do you use Laundry Detergent Strips?
To use laundry detergent strips, you just add one strip directly into your washing machine (right on the clothes), and wash as normal. Once the water hits the laundry strips, the concentrated detergent releases and cleans your clothing – just as well as laundry detergent does.
One strip is enough to wash a medium to large load of washing. If you are only doing a small load, cut your strip in half.
Do Laundry Detergent Strips really work?
Absolutely they do! They work just as well as any laundry detergents on the market. We only use sensitive laundry detergents here at home and the strips are just as gentle on the skin as the sensitive versions of laundry liquids and powders.
All my kid’s clothing came out smelling fresh and clean and although it didn’t take out all stains that the kids made, neither does any other laundry liquid! So for any stains, you will still need a good stain remover!
Advantages to Using Laundry Strips
