Dreams – we all have them. Some so damn vivid we wake in a frightened sweat not even knowing if we are in fact awake or still actually in the dream. Others are so beautiful and calming that we don’t ever want to wake from them or if you do wake, you spend the next while desperately trying to ‘drop yourself back in there’.
Dreams occur when your subconscious mind is still working things out, playing with ideas when you’ve clocked off for the day and catching some shut eye.
There are several common dreams that seem to repeat through the ages for people of all cultures and ages experience.
Sometimes there’s an obvious link to why we are having the certain dreams. If you’ve seen the most gorgeous man recently, all of a sudden bam Mr Luscious Lips is front and centre in your latest Mills & Boon’s themed dream. Your mind isn’t quite ready to just move on from that image too soon. Mmmmm come to mumma. Or if the kids have been acting up getting right the hell on your nerves it’s hardly any wonder your dreams theme features you happily on your way to the asylum just to get some peace!
